PolyCure™ DirtGlueDry powdered polymer Curing Agent

PolyCure, Is a dry blended formulation used to help speed the drying/curing process of mix-in DirtGlue polymer application for hardened surfaces such as pathways, driveways, parking areas and similar surfaces where a tough durable surface that is resistant to erosion is desired. PolyCure also helps to add “fines” to the aggregate blend which is often an important consideration on less than ideal gradations of aggregate. PolyCure not only ensures faster but also more complete drying and curing of the polymer resulting in maximum possible strength.

Recommended usage:

PolyCure is recommended on mix-in polymer applications whenever temperature, humidity or high moisture may preclude proper or timely drying/curing of the application:
Temperatures below 70°F
Humidity above 85%
Short duration between rain events
Need for rapid curing
Need for assured high strength


Application:

PolyCure is typically applied at a rate of 1 pound per 10 pounds of aggregate (200 pounds/cubic yd or 220 pounds/M2).
PolyCure is evenly mixed into the aggregate mechanically to a depth of two inches (2”) using rakes, hoes, power rake, roto-tiller or similar method appropriate for the size of the project.
PolyCure application rate may be adjusted up or down slightly depending on severity of climatic conditions or the need for high speed drying/curing.
Once PolyCure has been blended into the aggregate the DirtGlue polymer must be applied, mixed in, and compacted immediately.

Storage:

PolyCure must be stored so as to remain dry until it is applied.
